The 11th International Conference on Auxetics and other materials and models with "negative" characteristics and the 16th International Workshop Auxetics and related systems, Malta, 14-18 September 2021
FAQ:
Q1. Why has the 2020 meeting been postponed to 2021?
In July 2020, Malta was one of the safest countries to travel to and the Government of Malta, Public Health and the Tourism Authority had assured that they were taking appropriate measures to keep Malta, and its visitors as safe as can be. Since then things changed all over Europe and travel is not seen as being so safe any more.
It was felt that a fully virtual meeting would not be in the spirit of the "auxetics community" and hence, we feel that holding the meeting next year would be a much preferred option.
Q2. I have already submitted an abstract. What should I do?
You can either keep the present abstract in the system, or withdraw it. Another call for abstracts will be announced in due course.
